Atrium                                                                                                                                                                                       Three storey ceiling height, curved Fijian Kauri panelling and parts of the original courtyard combine to make any event at the Atrium an experience.  Available for cocktail and food station events.  Perfect for drinks before dinner in the MEC or pre-exhibition drinks.  Available for set up from 5.15pm 7 days a week. Recommend earliest guest arrival is 6.30pm.  

Venue Hire $5,500 + gst and ancillary costs such as security, cleaning, furniture removal which are quoted by event.

Auditorium                                                                                                                                                                               199 very comfortable movie style seats drop down providing a clear sight line to the centrestage.  Audiovisual and lighting equipment included in the venue hire.  The Lobby area outside the Auditorium can be used for pre or post presentation catering.  Available for day and evening events 7 days a week.  

Venue Hire $1,500 + gst.  The Auditorium Lobby can be hired stand-alone for $1,000 + gst and ancillary costs such as security, cleaning, furniture removal which are quoted by event.

Grand Foyer                                                                                                                                                                           Step inside and you'll see why it's the Grand Foyer.  Beautiful stonework floors, stained glass and 2 storey neo classical pillars - The Foyer is transformed with simple uplighting into an unforgettable event experience. Available for set up from 5.15pm 7 days a week.  Recommend earliest guest arrival is 6.30pm.

Venue hire $4,000 + gst and ancillary costs such as security, cleaning, furniture removal which are quoted by event.

Max Guests 300 Cocktail  /  150 Seated Dinner 

 

Museum Events Centre                                                                                                                                                    Feel like you're on top of the world, because you are.  The glass paneled MEC is the top floor of the hilltop Auckland Museum.  Views to the East, West and everywhere in between!  This space is so versatile and not limited to dinners and cocktails - it's also perfect for small trade shows, exhibitions and product launches. Venue hire of the MEC includes tables and chairs and 2 prefunction areas (the wings) which hold 120 guests each. Available for set up from 8am 7 days a week.

Max. Guests 500 Cocktail /  450 Seated Dinner (no stage or dancefloor)  /  400 Seated Dinner with stage and dancefloor  /  600 Theatre Style seating (450 chairs included)
